A Fall Community Contest

This isn't your average pumpkin carving contest. We're keeping it simple, creative, and fun. Bring us anything pumpkin or fall-themed and let the community decide who takes home the glory (and the gift cards).

What Is This Thing?

Think of it as a show-and-tell for adults. Paint a pumpkin like your favorite celebrity. Knit a tiny sweater for a gourd. Build a diorama. Write a poem about leaves. Create a fall-themed sculpture. Whatever speaks to your autumnal soul.

The rules are simple:

• No edible items (they won't last the week!)

• Must fit in our designated display area

• Must relate to pumpkin or fall in some way

Real pumpkins, fake pumpkins, crafts, art, photography. We're not picky.

The Details

Timeline:

• Entries accepted through Wednesday, October 29th

• Display runs all week (Monday, October 27th - Friday, October 31st)

• Beverage and Browse event: Thursday, October 30th, evening

• Voting closes: Thursday, October 30th at 11:59 PM

• Winners announced: Friday, October 31st (Halloween morning!)

Prizes: Gift cards to local favorites Long Live Beerworks or Knead Donuts for our top three winners.

Who Can Enter: Anyone in the Rooms and Works buildins, residents and office folks alike. This is all about getting to know the people you share space with.

How to Enter

1. Create your pumpkin or fall-themed masterpiece

2. Bring it to the designated display area (we'll have it clearly marked)

3. Take a quick photo of your entry

4. Email the photo to pumpkin@youmeandpvd.com with your name and contact info

5. We'll label your entry with a number and add it to the official lineup

That's it. We'll handle the rest.

How to Vote

Starting Monday, October 27th, all entries will have a card with their # on it, come back to this page and click on VOTE at the bottom or scan the QR code on the label. Pick your top three favorites using ranked choice voting (1st choice, 2nd choice, 3rd choice). Every vote counts, so come check out the entries in person before you cast your ballot.

Beverage and Browse Night

Thursday, October 30th 5-6PM

Before voting closes, join us for an evening to admire the creativity on display, meet your neighbors, and maybe discover that the person in 605 has serious gourd-painting skills or that your office neighbor is secretly a crafting genius.

Bring a beverage if you'd like, wander through the entries, and actually meet the people whose names you see on the pile of Amazon boxes.
